Private Remembrance of Nedra Lynn née Norton Outlaw (2/5/1948-8/26/2025)
Our little family was so devastated by the death of our wife, mother and grandmother that we were unable to meet with the public following her death on August 26th. We went to the farm, as Bill always does in times of geat sadness. This brief photo essay will help us remember Modern funerals often include free-response comments from family, friends, coworkers, and others. Soon, we'll post a page of links to comments made by her loved ones. ******************* |

After a break of 3+ years, Bill called Nedra in 1970. On their first (rekindle) date, she made Country Captain at his place and it became special for that reason. Bill remembers that both he and Nedra were enthusiastic to see each other; the rest is histrory. Will & Harrison made Country Captain for our main Remembrance Meal. |
Larrry and Mae Watson really were "there" for us; I appreciate it. Larry had cut the grass before we arrived and they soon brought food--vegan vegetable soup (to which the meat-eaters added hamburger crumbles), a delightful breakfast casserole, and vegan cinamon rolls. |
Elizabeth's friend Tracy Hargrove kindly sent the flowers, and we thank her. |
Aunt Liz is engaged in risky behavior, riding with Harrison as he learns to drive a stick shift. |
The boys visited Pleasant (again). Harrison is standing by the grave of William Henry Harrison Ourtlaw, our namesake. |
Heart-felt thanks to all those who made Nedra's life better, richer, less uncertain, more promising. |
