| Comments:Nedra enjoyed gardening. When she was able, she maintained extensive flower beds (see https://www.southernmatters.com/image-database/upload/Outlaw/Outlaw-336_red.jpg, e.g., taken abt 1992, w Will's dog Timber and lab associate Dr. SQ Zhang.) Over the years, unfortunately, she had to give up strenuous activities and the beds reverted to natural vegetation. Until about 2022, Nedra was able to maintain her herb bed, which we built just off our porch. The main image--her garden hat, her gloves, and some labels--are testimony of her love of gardening. |
