| Subjects:Nedra nee Norton Ricky Almand (See also Norton-079, Richard Ralph Almand Jr. Star Student at Rockdale High; Thanks to Judy Bond for confirming id & more) I understand that Ricky died in 2025; I don't think Nedra knew, and I hope she didn't. She worked w him on the annual staff and had fond memories of palling around with him. He wrote in her senior yearbook: "Nedra, To the annual staff member who I would most like to be trapped on a deserted island with. The year is closing out fast, and, oh, what memories, especially annual staff. Remember the upstairs "dungeon" where we used to work on the annual. Remember having the whole building to ourselves. Lucky it didn't collapse on us! Remember Lake Spivey. Remember the Pizza Cellar and Piedmont Park. |
